We are a specialist manufacturer and use Dear as our main point of sales system at our retail store. It has some nice features such as customer accounts, parking the sale and capacity for returns. End of day procedures are straight forward and inventory is updated overnight. We are now reviewing extending the software across our operations by adopting the manufacturing module.
We are a distributor of upmarket health and well being products and have been using Dear for a number of years. We brought in ITEBS to review our current processes in order to develop the system to suit our changing business needs. They were a useful sounding board allowing us to future proof our operations with regard to multi currency pricing structures, returns management and compimentary products.
We found a fresh set of eyes helped us get more use out of the program.
We are a UK-based publisher of handmade greetings cards specialist card manufacturer and we had to move from TradeGecko to Dear Systems rather quickly before we lost access to the old site. ITEBS guided us through the process and helped us replicate the functionality of our old system whilst taking advantage of some of the new features within Dear. There were a few teething troubles at the start, but they responded quickly to resolve those issues.
Due to the exacting standards required of the medical device industry, which dictates lot/batch traceability is mandatory we needed a system that could ensure we were able to maintain traceability through every stage of the product handling process. We looked at many systems, but in looking at Dear Systems we found that for a relatively inexpensive program it had the capacity to track all our stock no matter where it was located through lot/batch ID’s.
We had been using Dear with Xero for a while but noticed that the stock levels and values weren’t coming across correctly. We asked the consultants at ITEBS to investigate, and they discovered a few things that were missed during the set-up phase and were able to correct it and provide the accounting journals for our end of year. We have booked them in for further on-site training.
